Moeen Ali (High Performance) Cricket Academy

The Moeen Ali Cricket Academy was set up in 2022 at Bicton College near Budleigh Salterton to provide a high performance coaching programme for young boys and girls in Devon who had a particular wish to improve their skills and their lives through cricket. 

Top coaches were invited to deliver masterclasses including Yorkshire County Cricket Club bowling coach Kabir Ali, Somerset Academy coach Dave Hooper, former Somerset batsman James Hildreth together with current Devon CCC players James Horler and Elliott Hamilton.

The initial course was so successful that we will now be running 2 sessions on 6 Sundays between January and March 2024 so that each player has the opportunity to prepare for the forthcoming season and benefit from top coaching.
